Bhrigu Lake Trek

About Bhrigu Lake Trek (4235 Mtr. from Sea Level)
Bhrigu Lake Trek is one of the scenic high-altitude trek in Himalaya. During Bhrigu Lake Trek we witness lush green valleys, high-altitude meadows and dazzling landscapes. In Bhrigu Lake Trek you can notice that lots of peaks of the region like Muker-bay, Shiker- bay, Ladakhi, Friendship, Indrasan, Inderkilla and Hanuman Tibba can be viewed. In beginning Bhrigu Lake Trek proceeds through evergreen cool forests of walnut, oak and the occasional alder. One of the best thing of Bhrigu Lake Trek is, it gives the excellent view of the entire Kullu valley. Once we reach to the Bhrigu Lake (4235m) we can eyewitness the spectacular panorama of himalyan peaks. In Bhrigu Lake Trek you will see waterfalls and a number of lakes (Mountain tarn). Close enough to habitation, yet in a secluded, lush green dale, the Bhrigu Lake is at an altitude of 4235 meters. It lies east of the Rohtang Pass and passage is through the village of Gulaba Campsite. It also lies on several trek routes of the region. The shores of this clear water lake are visited regularly by the people of the area and are held sacred to ‘Rishi’ Bhrigu.
