MAGNIFICENT TOUR TO HIMACHAL

Manali is a hill station nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the
Kullu Valley, at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft). The landscape here is breathtaking. One sees well defined snow capped
peaks, the Beas river with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny
fields and fruit orchards. Manali is famous as a Honeymoon Destination among Indian tourists while Western tourists visit
Manali for adventure sports and leisure, nature trips in the Himalayas. Manali is also often referred to as the “Valley of
the Gods”. There are so many attractions in Manali like Ancient Hidimba Temple, Hot water Spring at Vashista, Solang
Valley, Rohtang Pass, Tibetan Monasteries, Naggar Castle, Jagatsukh, Rafting on Beas River, Snow Sports & the famous
Mall road for shopping. Shimla is the capital of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayan foothills.
It’s also known for the handicraft shops that line The Mall, a pedestrian avenue, as well as the Lakkar Bazaar, a market
specializing in wooden toys and crafts. Chandigarh is a city and a union territory in the northern part of India that serves
as the capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana. Chandigarh has various visitor attractions including theme gardens
within the city. Some notable sites are Sukhna lake, Rock garden, Rose garden, etc. Dharamshala is a city in the upper
reaches of the Kangra Valley and is surrounded by dense forest consisting mainly of stately Deodar cedar trees. It is the
district headquarters. It was formerly known as Bhagsu. Dalhousie is a hill station in Chamba district in the northern state of
Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated on 5 hills and has an elevation of 2,400 meters above sea level.

    Delhi to Shimla (370 Kms, 10 hours)
    Arrive Delhi airport / railway station and moves to Shimla. Enroute visit Pinjore Gardens or
    Ropeway at Timber Trail, Parwanoo. Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free to stroll around
    mall road.
    Overnight at Shimla. ( _ _ D)

    Day 2

    Shimla Local Sightseeing
    After Breakfast depart towards Jakhu Temple situated on the highest peak of Shimla then proceed
    to Kufri where you can photograph yourself in hired Himachal traditional outfits. Kufri is famous
    for its Himalayan National Park, Pony and Yak Ride and One can see the endless Himalayan
    Panorama from Kufri. After lunch sightseeing of various places in and around Shimla mosques built
    in (1830), Christ Church built in (1844).

    Day 3

    Shimla to Manali (270 Kms, 08 hours)
    After breakfast drive towards Manali. En-route visit to famous Kullu Shawl factories & Vaishno
    devi temple. In late evening Arrive and check into the hotel. Evening free at Leisure.

    Day 4

    Manali Local Sightseeing
    Morning proceed to Visit the 450 years old Hidimba devi Temple, the oldest temple in Manali,
    Tibetans center & monastery, Vasisth village, known for its hot Sulpher springs, Roerich art
    Gallery. Vashist Temple. Post Lunch Solang Valley which offers a spectacular view of glaciers and
    snow capped peaks. It’s famous for its picturesque location & adventurous activities. Evening stroll
    down the Mall road.

    Day 5

    Manali – Rohtang pass – Manali (51 kms, 2 hours – One Side)
    Early morning depart for full day excursion to Rohtang Pass (if weather permits). Rohtang Pass, at
    an altitude of more than 13000 feet, is the gateway to Lahaul, Spiti & Ladakh. Enjoy lots of
    adventurous activities at your own cost. Through snow balls to your dear once. En-route visit to
    Nehru Kund, Gulaba, Rahalla falls and Rani Nallah. Visit to Rohtang Pass is subject to weather
    conditions and road being open. As per Himachal Government Ruling outside Vehicles are not
    allowed to do the Rohtang Pass & Guest Have to Take Car from union on Direct Payment Basis.

    Day 6

    Manali to Dharamshala (250 Kms, 08 hours)
    After Early Breakfast move towards Dharamshala. En-route visit to Baijnath known for its Shiva
    Temple & Palampur famous For Tea Garden. Dharamshala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the
    Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra. Since 1960, when it became the
    temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international
    repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”.

    Day 7

    Dharamshala to Dalhousie (145 Kms, 5 hours)
    After Breakfast drive from Dharamshala towards Dalhousie after doing the local sightseeing of
    Places which includes, His holiness Dalai lama residence at Mc-Leodgunj, War memorial,
    Bhagsunath temple and Dal Lake. Reach Dalhousie in the evening.

    Day 8

    Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Dalhousie (25 kms – One Side – 1hour)
    Visit Local sightseeing of Dalhousie which includes Panjpulla, Subhash Baoli & excursion to
    Khajjiar. Drive from Dalhousie to Khajjiar is awesome due to thick Deodar forest.

    Day 9

    Dalhousie – Chandigarh (350 km, 08 hours)
    Early morning move towards Chandigad. On arrival proceed towards airport/ railway station to
    board Flight/ Train back to home with sweet memories.

    1. Food: Pure Vegetarian Food will be served by Explorers. If you want Non veg. Food, you can take it at Extra Cost at Actual. Please take the Railway Food (Tea, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner) in Proper time at Own Cost.
    2. Medicine: Bring personal medicines, if any & the necessary things given in a list.
    3. Railway Reservations: It is not possible for Explorers to ensure that the Participants will get Railway Reservations together or in the same compartment because of random seat allotment by Railway Computerized System.
    4. Transport & Jungle Safari: For Jungle Safari six people can travel in a Gypsy, but it is not sure that same Group / Family can travel in a same Gypsy. If any Natural Calamity or Technical problem results into late or Safari get cancelled then Explorers or the leaders of Explorers are not responsible for same & in that case No refund is admissible.
    5. Jungle Safari Zone: For Jungle Safari Explorers will choose the Safari zones as per the availability. We are not giving commitment of any specific zone Safari.
    6. Room Allotment: In case of Odd number of Participants or Male / Female Ratio, It is not possible for Explorers to ensure that same Group / Family will accommodate in a same Room. TWO Persons on Bed & TWO persons will be provided by Mattresses, Blanket, Pillow, etc.
    7. Hot Water: In Early Morning Warm Water will be served for Refreshment & in Afternoon Hot Water for Bath.
    8. Drinking Water: Mineral Water Bottles will not be provided by the Explorers throughout the Tour.
    9. During the Camp all the participants should obey all the instructions and decisions taken by the authorised representative of Explorers or Camp Leader.
    10. During any type of event, in case of any dispute for whatsoever reasons, the decision of the Camp Leader or authorized representative of Explorers shall be final and binding on all the participants. The Participants shall be solely liable for the risks, responsibilities and consequences.
    11. Medical Treatment: In case of any medical ailments, a disorder etc. which the participants are suffering or have suffered from, it is his/her responsibility to inform the organisers in advance, before commencement of the camp or trek. If required, the participant(s) will have to take medical treatment from the doctor / attendant available on the campsite or from the nearest available medical centre or hospital. The expenses for all medical treatment and arrangements for the same will be solely borne by the participant ONLY. The Camp Leader or the authorised representative shall have complete discretion to continue the camp without the participant(s) suffering from medical problem.
    12. Photographs or Video Clips: Explorers reserves the right to use Photographs / Video Clips of the tourist taken on tour and / or given by tourist, for promotion of the Company’s Business without obtaining prior permission of the concerned tourist.
    13. Consumption of liquor, tobacco products, cigarette etc. is strictly prohibited during any type of Event. The trek will be considered over only when we are back to our decided arrival place.
    14. Participants should not deface or damage any monument by writing or scribbling on them. Any breach of the above two rules will be taken seriously, and will be removed from the trek or camp, and no refund is admissible in such cases.
    15. In case of any injury, sickness, accident, death or any other casualty or loss or damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; Explorers, it’s instructors, organisers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.
    16. If the participants have enrolled for the activities like wildlife camping or any type of adventure sports activity, then all the risks and responsibilities related to and arising from such activities shall be solely upon such participants and Explorers shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever.
    17. Insurance: Neither participants nor any event shall be insured by Explorers, unless mentioned specifically.
    18. Please Note that any Claims, disputes, court case, etc. shall be subject to Pune Jurisdiction only.
