About Vasota Jungle Trek Backwater Camping:
A serene location for both trekkers and camp lovers, Vasota trek through jungle concludes by a camping location where you can sit by a campfire surrounded by a landscape of sparkling clear lakes and ridges of mountains making it perfect for spending quality time in the cold evening weather with group of energy filled people and travel buddies, the evening is the beginning of another fun-filled experience. The peaceful boat ride takes you to the island Meth-Indavali was the trek start from. Koyna backwaters remain popular for its blue waters and clear skies, so be ready to capture some spectacular shots. Vasota fort situated in the laps of Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, Vasota Jungle is known for its flora and fauna that charms both trekkers and nature lovers. As you trek through this dense yet beautiful jungle, surprises won’t stop coming your way. You don’t really have to worry much about the season; this jungle remains green throughout the year.

  • Last date of Registration for Vasota Jungle Trek Backwater Camping: Three Days Before the Event Or till seats left.
  • Campsite for Vasota Jungle Trek Backwater Camping: Open Plateau near Backwater of Bamnoli Village.
    Dome shape Tents on Triple Sharing Basis with Carry mats, Sleeping Bag, etc.
  • Departure Date & Time: Day 1 by sharp 1.30 pm from SP College Tilak Road.
  • Arrival Date & Time: Day 2 around 11.30 pm, at SP College Tilak Road.
    (We may come to Pune ONE Hour Before OR After the given time)
  • Meeting Time and Place: Day 1 by sharp 01.15 pm at SP College, Tilak Road.
  • Walking Time (estimated): 2.5 Hours for Climb & 2 Hours to get down
  • Difficulty Grade: Easy
  • Endurance Level: Medium
  • Age Group: 15 to 50 years (people above 50 years will be allowed after meeting at Explorers Office)
  • Mode of Transport: Pune – Bamnoli – Pune by Private Non AC High Back Bus.
  • Route: Pune – Satara Highway – Satara – Bamnoli Village.
  • Two wheeler parking: we will provide parking space at our office premises at owner’s risk.

    Gather at Explorers Office. After attendance depart for Vasota Jungle Trek Backwater Camping

    Reach Bamnoli. Introduction Session.

    Evening Tea & Snacks.

    Day 2
    07.00 am

    Wake up call by Explorers. Fresh up immediately. Common Toilets are available at Bamnoli.

    07.45 am

    Tea & Breakfast. After breakfast 1 Hour is required for completing the Legal Procedures to enter the Vasota.

    09.00 am

    Start a Memorable Backwater Journey towards Vasota Jungle Trek by Boat.

    10.30 am

    Reach Base of Vasota “Met-Indawali”. Briefing, Do’s & Don’ts by Team Explorers.

    10.45 am

    Start a Trek towards Vasota. Beautiful climb in the Vicinity of Nature.

    12.45 am

    Reach the Top. Explore Vasota with Explorers.

    01.30 pm

    Start Descending the Vasota Fort.

    03.00 pm

    Lunch at Base of Vasota jungle. Please Carry Steel Plate, Bowl, Spoon, etc. Disposable Plates not allowed.

    04.30 pm

    Return journey towards Bamnoli by Boat.

    06.00 pm

    Reach Bamnoli. Evening Tea & Snacks.

    07.00 pm

    Depart towards Pune with Happy Memories.

    11.30 pm

    Reach Pune at SP College Tilak Road. No Pick up & Drop other than Mentioned Route.

    COVID-19 Precautions

    • Age Group below 12 & above 55 is strictly not allowed to participate.

    • Arogya Setu App is Compulsory for each participant & it must be on during the Tour Period.
    • Make sure that you’re not in contact with any person who was tested positive in the last 14 days.
    • At the starting point we will check the Oxygen Level & Temperature of each Participant.
    • Do co-operate with us for all safety procedure to stay safe.
    • Avoid Contact with Local Villagers.
    • Maintain minimum 6 feet distance while Trekking & enjoying in Streams.
  • Charges: Rs.2450/- Per Head Pune to Pune.

  • What to Bring?

    • A Good Quality of Rucksack suitable for One day Trek with all inside Luggage packed in a Plastic Bag.
    • Minimum 3 Ltr. Water.
    • Extra Dress in a plastic Bag.
    • Rainproof / Sun Cap / Warm Wear as per Season.
    • Torch, Napkin / Towel.
    • Steel Plate, Bowl, Spoon, Glucon – D OR Electrol – Optional
    • Shoes Compulsory in a Good Condition while trekking
    • Dress Code – T-shirt, Flexible Track pant.(HALF PANT NOT ALLOWED.)
    • Any type of addictions like tobacco, Liquor, etc is strictly not allowed.
    • Personal Medicines, if any.

    • Don’t keep valuable while trekking
    • Use plastic carry bags to save your mobile & Wallet.
    • Avoid Jean pant for inconvenience in Walking / Climbing.
    • Always keep your Original Photo ID with you.
    • Follow all the Instructions given by Team Explorers.
    • Don’t expect similar food quality of your home town. Try Local food to have some different Experience.
    • Respect the Local Religion & Traditions.
    • While taking Photographs don’t click photos of Local people without their permission.
    • Keep Healthy environment & helpful nature while Trekking & at the time of Activity.
    • Don’t keep anything like mobile, Wallet, Gold ornaments at the time of Adventure Activity

    1. Food: Pure Vegetarian Food will be served by Explorers. If you want Non veg. Food, you can take it at Extra Cost at Actual. Please take the Railway Food (Tea, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner) in Proper time at Own Cost. 
    2. Medicine: Bring personal medicines, if any & the necessary things given in a list.
    3. Railway Reservations: It is not possible for Explorers to ensure that the Participants will get Railway Reservations together or in the same compartment because of random seat allotment by Railway Computerized System.
    4. Transport & Jungle Safari: For Jungle Safari six people can travel in a Gypsy, but it is not sure that same Group / Family can travel in a same Gypsy. If any Natural Calamity or Technical problem results into late or Safari get cancelled then Explorers or the leaders of Explorers are not responsible for same & in that case No refund is admissible.
    5. Jungle Safari Zone: For Jungle Safari Explorers will choose the Safari zones as per the availability. We are not giving commitment of any specific zone Safari.
    6. Room Allotment: In case of Odd number of Participants or Male / Female Ratio, It is not possible for Explorers to ensure that same Group / Family will accommodate in a same Room. TWO Persons on Bed & TWO persons will be provided by Mattresses, Blanket, Pillow, etc.
    7. Hot Water: In Early Morning Warm Water will be served for Refreshment & in Afternoon Hot Water for Bath.
    8. Drinking Water: Mineral Water Bottles will not be provided by the Explorers throughout the Tour.
    9. During the Camp all the participants should obey all the instructions and decisions taken by the authorised representative of Explorers or Camp Leader.
    10. During any type of event, in case of any dispute for whatsoever reasons, the decision of the Camp Leader or authorized representative of Explorers shall be final and binding on all the participants. The Participants shall be solely liable for the risks, responsibilities and consequences.
    11. Medical Treatment: In case of any medical ailments, a disorder etc. which the participants are suffering or have suffered from, it is his/her responsibility to inform the organisers in advance, before commencement of the camp or trek. If required, the participant(s) will have to take medical treatment from the doctor / attendant available on the campsite or from the nearest available medical centre or hospital. The expenses for all medical treatment and arrangements for the same will be solely borne by the participant ONLY. The Camp Leader or the authorised representative shall have complete discretion to continue the camp without the participant(s) suffering from medical problem.
    12. Photographs or Video Clips: Explorers reserves the right to use Photographs / Video Clips of the tourist taken on tour and / or given by tourist, for promotion of the Company’s Business without obtaining prior permission of the concerned tourist.
    13. Consumption of liquor, tobacco products, cigarette etc. is strictly prohibited during any type of Event. The trek will be considered over only when we are back to our decided arrival place.
    14. Participants should not deface or damage any monument by writing or scribbling on them. Any breach of the above two rules will be taken seriously, and will be removed from the trek or camp, and no refund is admissible in such cases.
    15. In case of any injury, sickness, accident, death or any other casualty or loss or damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; Explorers, it’s instructors, organisers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.
    16. If the participants have enrolled for the activities like wildlife camping or any type of adventure sports activity, then all the risks and responsibilities related to and arising from such activities shall be solely upon such participants and Explorers shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever.
    17. Insurance: Neither participants nor any event shall be insured by Explorers, unless mentioned specifically.
    18. Please Note that any Claims, disputes, court case, etc. shall be subject to Pune Jurisdiction only.
